No luck so far

Just a quick update
that we haven't seen her

I rode the 10 mile loop yesterday
came back sunburnt and dehydrated

I saw her tracks
I saw where she doubled back twice
on us in the dark the first night

she has access to water
they're running cattle out there
which makes tracking hard

if she loses the rope
it'll be really hard to find her by tracking
and the rope has a small clasp
if she gets it hung up
she can probably break it

I'm glassing from the roof
and see nothing but cows

Sheriff is aware
locals are aware
flyers go up today

it's all I can do

Ah geez... that's rough. When/if she gets found are you trying again or was this the end of the line? (at your place at least)

Oh, gosh! Yes, what are you going to do with her?

Where is that darn herd instinct when you need it?

Hang in there, hope everyone is okay...

Dang, just got caught up on the last post. Hope this set back doesn't erase all the progress you've made. I was totally rooting you two.

Hope she turns up somewhere...

She must've had a break down the other day or something (and then caused everyone around her to have a breakdown). I wonder if they are like dogs that learn to run. No matter how good you have them behaving in the fence deep down inside the desire to run is always there....?

Here I go...turning into my mother. "Some things just get taken out of our hands. Whatever is meant to be will be." Hang in there, my friend.

That's gotta both break your heart and piss you off all at the same time. Hope you find her. Maybe it's true that wild hearts can't be tamed.

This is such a hard place to be in. I hate that after all of the progress you've made and all that you've given her in a safe home with food and water she doesn't have to hunt for, the first chance she gets she bolts for freedom. Hard, hard, hard. Even our wildest herd member, Valeroso, ran back home instead of into the national forest when I was evacuating them due to a fire.

Don't let the world pull you down. Even superwoman needs a break now and then and you have been carrying way too much here lately. Take good care of yourself my friend...I'm thinking about you. Carmon

Crap! That horse is definitely a handful. Something's got her riled up, that's for sure. I do hope you find her and can bring her home safely. I'll pray that no one gets hurt in the process.

I hope the support helps, but I know this is going to be a weight on your mind for awhile. Good luck Cowgirl!

You are amazing! That horse is amazing. The combination is powerful. I know you will win, time. Time is time. You will win.
