Wow I just got all choked up looking at those pictures. My horse came home from bootcamp a bit on the thin side from stress but nothing like that. They look sooooo good.
They look great!! My little Poncho was in that bad of shape and now he is fat and shiny. He suffered long term neglect and there are still some issues but we are getting past them. It is incredible to watch them bloom. Poncho has totally won my heart he never lost his trust or sweetness after being starved almost to death. Next week he goes in to get his teeth floated and a sheath cleaning then he is caught up on everything.
Hi Mikey! Been meaning to get a note off to you to thank you for doing the long distance 'review' on Mio for me. He is turning out to be a fantastic horse and exactly what I needed in my life right now. Thanks so much! You were right on in everything you said about him. Carmon
After being gone from blogging for several days I was hoping (as you are/were) that Sugarfoot had returned. Darn that horse, doesn't she realize how nice she had it there? I know animals think, shoot. Here is hoping she is found for your sake and for hers.
It truly is amazing what good food will do for them in a short time. I've got a TWH gelding that was skin and bones. He's gained over 100 pounds since March, mostly with just good food. I'm so glad to see that someone is taking care of those horses.
You can't let a little thing like total humiliation stand between you and a good time.

Sometimes we redeem ourselves as a species. This was one of those times.
